I finally made it to the end of the semester. It is such a joy to finally be finished. I took 17 hours this semester, and it just about killed me. Especially the end. Every professor decided to stack everything on top of us and decided everything would be due the last two weeks of class. I had one professor for three classes this semester. She is a project God. For all three classes I had 5 projects due in the past two weeks. It has been a struggle just to get her work done, let alone everything else I had to do. Luckily, I got them all finished, and all turned in on time.
I pulled my second all-nighter in college last Wednesday to finish a project (Procrastinator, remember?). If you know me, I LOVE LOVE LOVE sleep. It's one of my favorite things EVER. When I don't get my sleep, I turn into a real grouch. So, back to my point. I stayed up all night working on this project. When I went to class to turn in my project, I expected us to turn them in and sit around for a lecture. No. She had doughnuts and coffee for us. All we did was talk. That's it. Valuable sleeping time, and my nutrition teacher has doughnuts for us and just wants to talk. Ha.
Anyway, so the semester is over and I am SO looking forward to the next. More hard classes, but not many breaks to keep me distracted. =]
Until next time,
Nikki

Procrastination
So if you know me well, you know I put everything off until the very last possible minute. I don't know where I got this, because no one else in my family is quite like me. I can't sit still enough to just finish something. Not only do I procrastinate like it's my job, I have to take a million breaks and do a million different things other than what I am supposed to do to get it finished. I think I work best under pressure.
I told you that to tell you this, I have four projects due next week and two tests. With my sister getting MARRIED in Vegas this weekend, it's going to be very difficult to get these things done. So, I decided to get to work early on a few things. This great burst of motivation came about last week, but I have just acted on it last night. I wanted to have one project finished tonight, but with all of this packing and planning that I have to do (because I procrastinated that too..) I didn't have time. What a shame.
Even though I didn't get finished with my stuff, it felt so nice to have a day that I could just relax and hang out with my grandma. It's also going to be wonderful to have five days to spend with my sister, (soon to be) brother in law, brother, sister in law, nieces, dad, stepmom, Adam, and the other wonderful and great people in my sister's life. Our adventure to Sin City is going to be one that I cherish forever.
I hope that everyone has a great Thanksgiving filled with many memories and laughs. For I will be gambling away my life savings.
Sweet dreams,
Nikki

Welcome to the blogging world, she said.
Hello everyone! I have alas joined the blogging world. Thanks to my sister Suzanne, I decided that it would be nice to tap into my creative side and filter out some of the crazy things that get put into my head sometimes. I very rarely have much time to just sit and blog, but I will do my best to keep up with it and to keep things interesting. I am in college. It shouldn't be too hard to do.
So that's it for now. I hope everyone has a fabulous night.
Sweet dreams,
Nikki
